THIS WEEKEND Coronation Shabbat at Alyth - Saturday 6 May, 09:00 Our Shabbat morning service, including the Bat Mitzvah of Zara Jefferies, will begin at 09:00 and will be a slightly abridged service to finish in advance of the coronation ceremony.
After the service, you are invited to stay to watch the coronation together on the synagogue screens, with coffee and cake. This will be followed by a special Coronation B’Yachad Lunch. Click here to register for the lunch so that we know numbers for catering.

IRAC was established in 1987 as the public and legal advocacy arm of the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism, working to defend equality, social justice, and religious pluralism in Israel. Orly’s predecessors in the role, including Anat Hoffman and Noa Sattath, have been regular visitors to Alyth in the past. We are delighted to welcome her. The Hidden History of Israel Tour REGISTER YOUR INTEREST and SAVE THE DATE
We are delighted to invite you to our next Alyth Israel Trip, the first since 2017. Taking place from Sunday 29 October to Thursday 2 November, with an optional Shabbat (from 3-4 November) with our sister community in Holon, led by Rabbi Galit Kedem Cohen).
Together we will explore the North of Israel, discovering 900,000 years of history up to the present day. Archaeology, politics, spirituality and, most of all, enjoyment, will come together in this unique journey to the parts of Israel you are unlikely to have seen before. We will hear from experts in all these areas who are living and working in Israel. Cost: £1,800 approx. excluding flights.
