TONIGHT: Israel: A History in 100 Cartoons (20:00-21:30) We begin our journey to ‘Israel 75’ with a special evening with Colin Shindler, emeritus professor at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). In his recently published book, ‘Israel: A History in 100 Cartoons’, Colin tells the story of Israel through the work of different generations of cartoonists, mainly from the Israeli press, giving a new insight into the events that shaped the modern State of Israel. This evening, he will share some of the cartoons and place them in their historical context. Signed copies of the book will be available to purchase on the evening. Please let us know that you are coming by clicking here.
