We will be joined by Alyth member and TV producer Jo Woolf and Emma Harpin (director) to discuss this short BBC film, which will be shown, they made of Ivor, 83, who celebrated his second bar mitzvah alongside that of his 13 year old grandson, Zak.

Intensive Hebrew Reading Course (19:00)
An intensive Hebrew course running for eight weeks, aimed to help beginners learn the Hebrew alphabet and the basic decoding skills needed to read. Taught by Alyth member Jan Roseman.

Pardes: Jewish Themes in the National Gallery (11:45)
This trip is now full.
A special trip to the National Gallery, hosted by Rev Dr Ayla Lepine, the Howard and Roberta Ahmanson Fellow in Art and Religion. Focusing on themes including love, peace, and faithfulness, our tour will feature paintings by Rembrandt, Claude Monet, and Bridget Riley.  We’ll explore connections between art history and scripture, including passages of text that explore angels, prophecy, and powerful images from the narratives of Moses and Ruth.

Followed by: Lunch together at Prezzo, cost £15
