Alyth Academy of Performing Arts presents: Legally Blonde

Alyth Academy of Performing Arts has been entertaining our community for nearly 30 years. After two years of no theatre during the pandemic, this year’s show, Legally Blonde the Musical, is set to be extra special. Bend and Snap your way back to Alyth to support our wonderful group of teenagers in this fun, energetic and feel good show.

Can We Talk About Israel?
A Guide for the Curious, Confused, and Conflicted

In conjunction with the New Israel Fund, Alyth is delighted to host a special Alyth Lecture and conversation between Rabbi Josh and Daniel Sokatch. Daniel is an American activist, serving since 2009 as CEO of the New Israel Fund. In recognition of his leadership and influence, Daniel has been named multiple times in The Jewish Daily Forward's yearly list of the fifty leading Jewish decisionmakers, activists and opinion-shapers.

“Can We Talk About Israel? A Guide for the Curious, Confused, and Conflicted” is from the expert who understands both sides of one of the world's most complex, controversial conflicts, a modern day Guide for the Perplexed-a primer on Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian issue.

Chavruta is a traditional form of Jewish practice of studying regularly with a partner. You can decide how and when to study during the week, and we come together as a group on Thursday evenings. No prior knowledge is required and the text is accessible for all levels. If you’re new, you can either come to the Alyth Chavruta Project with a partner in mind, or we can match you up with someone to study with.
