ALYTH IFTAR

Tuesday 5 April (18:15)
Alyth will be hosting our 9th annual Iftar. We are delighted that we are finally able to be together again in person and will be able to open the doors of our synagogue and welcome friends and neighbours to study, pray and eat together.
We are delighted that our iftar meal will once again be provided by the extraordinary caterer and founder of the Aleppo Supper Club, Ahmad, whose food we enjoyed last time we were able to be together.

This week's parashah includes some challenging language and legislation around ritual impurity after childbirth. Join Cantor Tamara for a shiur which will unpack some of the ancient and more modern interpretations of these Levitical verses.

Sensory Havdalah (16:00)
Havdalah is one of our most Sensory experiences. We see the flickering candle flame, smell the sweet spices and taste the wine. Join Rabbi Hannah, in the Youth Hall with the windows open, for this special Sensory Havdalah experience where our youngest members can wave goodbye to Shabbat and prepare to start the week new. Feel free to wear your PJs or onesies!
