Alyth Services: Online and In Person

We are delighted to welcome you to Shabbat services, either online or in person.  
For in-person attendance, please let us know that you are coming using the links below.  
Please note that we currently have additional Covid protocols in place - click here for full details.  At present members over the age of 11 should be prepared to show evidence of vaccination or negative lateral flow test on entry to the synagogue.

Volunteer Security
Weekly volunteer security has now re-started for the first time since the beginnning of the pandemic.  Thank you to our dedicated group of security 'team leaders'.  In light of events in Texas last weekend, we are especially grateful to you, and to everyone who volunteers in this way.

HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY 
National Ceremony (19:00)
Holocaust Memorial Day is an international day of commemoration to remember the millions of people murdered in the Holocaust, under Nazi Persecution, and in the genocides which followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, and Darfur.
The UK Ceremony for Holocaust Memorial Day 2022 will be streamed online on Thursday 27 January at 7pm.  Click here to register for the ceremony, and for more details.

PRAY WITH US IN PERSON AND ONLINE 
Tefillah Lab: Experimental Service using a Humanist Liturgy (10:30) 
Alyth is a community of diverse theologies, in which we invite everyone to search for meaning and engagement with Jewish practice and prayer through new and creative services. 
This special service with Rabbi Josh will use a specially designed liturgy - one which expresses the core ideas of the prayerbook while not including explicitly theistic language.  We will take time to reflect on our experience as we do so.  We will also explore different ways of understanding the idea of law and commandment, in relation to this week's Torah portion, Mishpatim.
